Privacy and cookie policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit enabal.com or join our waitlist, why we collect it, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).
Who we are
This website is run by Enabal (“we”, “us”). We are the “controller” of your personal data, which means we decide how it is used.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at privacy@enabal.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect:
- your email address
- the date and time you signed up, and the version of the consent wording you saw
We don’t ask for your name and we don’t store your IP address with your sign-up.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use and your approximate location. See Cookies below.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To tell you when Enabal launches and send you occasional news and updates. You ask us to do this by joining the waitlist. Our legal basis is your consent.
- To understand how people use the site so we can improve it, only if you accept analytics cookies. Our legal basis is your consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, by emailing privacy@enabal.com, or, for cookies, through . Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the site and the waitlist. They act on our instructions and must keep your data secure. These include:
- our website hosting provider
- our web agency, Polar (polar.agency), which built the site and helps manage the waitlist for us
- email and data storage providers, which send our emails and store the waitlist securely
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), which measures how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies
- Adobe Fonts, which provides the fonts on this site. To display them, your browser requests the fonts from Adobe’s servers, so Adobe receives your IP address. Adobe Fonts doesn’t set cookies.
Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, other countries, including the United States. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement.
If you’d like more detail about the providers we use, email privacy@enabal.com.
We may also share your data if the law requires us to, for example in response to a court order.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist sign-ups only for as long as we need them to tell you about Enabal’s launch and send you the updates you signed up for. We delete them when you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data. If you unsubscribe, we may keep a record of your email address only to make sure we don’t contact you again.
Google Analytics keeps detailed data about your visits for 14 months, then deletes it. Summary reports that don’t identify you may be kept for longer.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that websites save on your device. We only use analytics cookies if you accept them in the cookie banner, and nothing is set before you choose. You can change your choice at any time through , which is also in the footer of every page.
